Do you want to be a key member of a medical team and assist patients in obtaining quality care? ATI’s Medical Assisting (MA) Diploma program is for you!

Medical assistants are an important intermediary between patients and other health care professionals like nurses and physicians. Medical assistants are valuable because of diverse skills in office administration, laboratory procedures and patient preparation for exams or procedures.

Our MA course of study is led by career professionals and designed to train students in a variety of medical office procedures, word processing, patient records management, human anatomy and physiology, medical laboratory procedures, CPR and other skills essential for success in the fast-paced environments of medical offices and clinics. In as few as 40 weeks, you can be ready to start your rewarding career as a medical assistant!

Students must possess a high school diploma, GED or recognized equivalent, or demonstrate the ability to benefit from training. Non-high school graduates or students who do not possess appropriate equivalency may be admitted under ability to benefit (ATB) criteria with a minimum score of Verbal-200 and Quantitative-210 on the Wonderlic Basic Skills Test. The MA graduate will be qualified for entry-level employment at a medical office, clinic, minor emergency center or other health care provider. Job titles may include medical assistant, receptionist, insurance clerk, lab assistant or physician clinical assistant.
