Respiratory Therapy
Revised 08/05/2011

Would you enjoy a job where you can help people as a qualified respiratory therapist and create a rewarding career for yourself?  ATI's Respiratory Therapy (RT) Associate of Applied Science program can help you achieve these goals in as little as two years.

The demand for qualified respiratory care professionals is steadily increasing as our population ages.  Our traditional respiratory care curriculum prepares students to work with acutely ill patients including children in a care center environment.  Students will be trained in advanced life support and cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures as well as respiratory case management and lung expansion therapy.

Our course of study is led by career professionals and designed to prepare students for success in the fast-paced environments of hospitals, home health care agencies, and skilled nursing centers.  Graduates will earn an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree and will have access to preparatory materials for the CRT and RRT examinations from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) which can be taken upon graduation.

Contact an admissions representative today to learn how you can take the first step towards a rewarding career in this much faster than average growth industry*.

Programs vary by location so please contact your local ATI campus for more information.  Talk to an admissions representative today to learn more about starting your career as a respiratory therapist by calling (888) 209-8264.

The On-time Graduation Rate is a calculation which demonstrates, based on the number of students who graduate within the 2009-2010 award year, the percentage of those students who completed their educational program on time based on the published program length (in weeks). Median Loan Debt:

The Median Loan Debt calculation is based on the median debt incurred in Title IV Federal Student Aid Loans (Subsidized and Unsubsidized) and Private Loans incurred by students who graduated from their educational program in the 2009-2010 award year. In addition, we provide the median amount graduates owed the school (school balance) at the time the student graduated from the educational program. This data is intended to provide prospective students, and the public, with the median amount a student can be expected to repay upon completing the program.
