Let ATI help you develop the skills necessary to become an entry-level technician in the Air Conditioning, Heating, Refrigeration and Appliances (ACHRA) industry. Our convenient diploma program offers practical training for residential and commercial HVAC systems, large chilled water systems, and major service appliance repair. Students will learn the use of hand and specialty tools, the importance of safety procedures plus technical mathematic and customer service skills. Our program is taught by professional instructors in various simulated environments to help you develop the hands-on experience and troubleshooting experience that employers seek.
At ATI, we are committed to helping you build a strong foundation for your future success as an ACHRA technician. Students must possess a high school diploma, GED or recognized equivalent. Non-high school graduates or students who do not possess appropriate equivalency may be admitted under ability to benefit (ATB) criteria with a minimum score of Verbal-200 and Quantitative-210 on the Wonderlic Basic Skills Test.
The ACHRA graduate will be qualified for entry-level employment as an installer, repairer or service technician within property management, industrial organizations or service industries. We also offer preparation for the EPA section 608 certification exam to expedite your entrance into the job market. Diploma programs are offered in New Mexico and Florida.

The On-time Graduation Rate is a calculation which demonstrates, based on the number of students who graduate within the 2009-2010 award year, the percentage of those students who completed their educational program on time based on the published program length (in weeks). The published program length assumes a student is attending full-time and passes each class without being required to repeat any courses. Median Loan Debt:
The Median Loan Debt calculation is based on the median debt incurred in Title IV Federal Student Aid Loans (Subsidized and Unsubsidized) and Private Loans incurred by students who graduated from their educational program in the 2009-2010 award year. In addition, we provide the median amount graduates owed the school (school balance) at the time the student graduated from the educational program. This data is intended to provide prospective students, and the public, with the median amount a student can be expected to repay upon completing the program.
